Eye Ring

Materials: Eye agate Cabochon, Nickel

We were learning about bezels so I had to find a cabochon that I wanted to set. It was the only eye agate of its color, and when I saw it I knew I had to lean into the eye aspect. I carved out a ring that had a pointed oval shape in nickel to look like the scalera but accidentally made the bezel too big. However, this led to the stone moving around like an eye would and is now my favorite part of the piece.
