Peanut Obsidian Ring

Materials: Peanut Obsidean Cabochon, Sterling Silver

This ring was my first time working with silver because it was a gift for someone whose skin reacts poorly to certain metals. I resketched the design multiple times to make it as symmetrical as I could. I incorporated four-pointed stars, flames, and hearts into this design. The prongs gave me a lot of trouble, especially when soldering, because it also was my first ever prong setting. When finishing off, I added a patina.
